Pharmacology
Triazole antifungal agent, potent inhibitor of fungal cytochrome P-450 dependent enzymes, responsible for the synthesis of ergosterol

Interaction
- Prothrombin time after warfarin administration
- Prolongation of the serum half-life of concomitantly administered oral sulfonylureas

- Co-administration with combined oral contraceptive
- Impact on cyclosporine concentrations
- Effect of co-administration with food, cimetidine, antacids, or following total body irradiation for bone marrow transplantation
