Dosage
- Usual dose for hypertension: 80-160 mg once daily
- Usual dose for heart failure: 40 mg twice daily (may be increased to 80-160 mg)
- Usual dose post-myocardial infarction: 20 mg twice daily (increased to 160 mg daily if tolerated)
Administration
Administer on an empty stomach to prevent reduced absorption

- No significant drug interactions observed in clinical trials
- Caution advised when co-administering with potassium sparing diuretics or supplements
