- Afinitor is indicated in advanced Hormone Receptor-Positive, HER2-Negative Breast Cancer, Neuroendocrine Tumors, Renal Cell Carcinoma, Renal Angiomyolipoma With Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, Subependymal Giant Cell Astrocytoma, and for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in transplant patients.

- Prevents allograft rejection
- Inhibits proliferation of antigen-activated T cells
- Forms complex with cytoplasmic protein FKBP-12
- Inhibits FRAP function
DosageAdministration
- Initial dose varies depending on transplant type
- Recommended dose for indicated cancers is 10mg once daily
- Administer consistently with or without food
- Swallow whole with a glass of water
