- Antineoplastic agent

- Indicated for breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, gastric adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck

- Dosage based on cancer type and patient condition
- CYP3A4 substrate
- Contraindicated in patients with neutrophil counts <1500 cells/mm3
- May cause severe hypersensitivity reactions
- Common side effects: infections, neutropenia, anemia, hypersensitivity, neuropathy, nausea, vomiting, mucositis, alopecia, skin reactions, myalgia
- Can cause fetal harm during pregnancy
- Requires careful supervision in patients with hepatic impairment
- No known antidote for overdose
