Technical Specifications

  • Dosage Administration: Administer intravenously (IV) over 1 hr every 3 weeks
  • Dosage Range:
    • 60 mg/m^2 to 100 mg/m^2 single agent for Breast Cancer
    • 75 mg/m^2 single agent for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
    • 75 mg/m^2 with prednisone for Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
    • 75 mg/m^2 followed by cisplatin and fluorouracil for Gastric Adenocarcinoma (GC)
    • 75 mg/m^2 followed by cisplatin and fluorouracil for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck (SCCHN)
  • Interaction: Docexan is a CYP3A4 substrate, and its metabolism may be modified by certain compounds
  • Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with neutrophil counts of <1500 cells/mm^3 and severe hypersensitivity reactions to docetaxel or polysorbate 80
  • Side Effects: Common adverse reactions include infections, neutropenia, anemia, febrile neutropenia, hypersensitivity, thrombocytopenia, neuropathy, and more
