Docexan is a microtubule inhibitor indicated for treating Breast Cancer, Non-small Cell Lung Cancer, Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer, Gastric Adenocarcinoma, and Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck.

Technical Specifications
- Dosage Administration: Administer intravenously (IV) over 1 hr every 3 weeks
- Dosage Range:
- 60 mg/m^2 to 100 mg/m^2 single agent for Breast Cancer
- 75 mg/m^2 single agent for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
- 75 mg/m^2 with prednisone for Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
- 75 mg/m^2 followed by cisplatin and fluorouracil for Gastric Adenocarcinoma (GC)
- 75 mg/m^2 followed by cisplatin and fluorouracil for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck (SCCHN)
- Interaction: Docexan is a CYP3A4 substrate, and its metabolism may be modified by certain compounds
- Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with neutrophil counts of <1500 cells/mm^3 and severe hypersensitivity reactions to docetaxel or polysorbate 80
- Side Effects: Common adverse reactions include infections, neutropenia, anemia, febrile neutropenia, hypersensitivity, thrombocytopenia, neuropathy, and more
- Pregnancy & Lactation: Can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman; no information on its presence in human milk or effects on the breastfed child
