- Microtubule Inhibitor
- Indicated for Breast Cancer, Non-small Cell Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Gastric Adenocarcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck
- Acts by Disrupting Microtubular Network in Cells
- Promotes Assembly of Tubulin into Stable Microtubules
- Inhibits Mitosis in Cells
- Administered Intravenously over 1 Hour Every 3 Weeks
- Premedicate with Oral Corticosteroids
- CYP3A4 Substrate
- Contraindicated in Neutrophil Counts <1500 cells/mm^3
