Indications

Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension

Pharmacology

Comprised of Brimonidine Tartrate & Timolol Maleate, with dual mechanism of action to decrease aqueous humor production and increase uveoscleral outflow

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component, bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sinus bradycardia, second or third-degree atrioventricular block, overt cardiac failure, cardiogenic shock

Side Effects

Common side effects include allergic conjunctivitis, conjunctival folliculosis, conjunctival hyperaemia, eye pruritus, ocular burning or stinging

Pregnancy & Lactation

No well-controlled studies in pregnant women, possible risk to fetus, presence in human milk, decision on nursing should consider drug's importance to mother

Precautions & Warnings

May be absorbed systemically, potential cardiovascular and pulmonary adverse reactions, exercise caution in severe or unstable cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases

Use in Special Populations

Safety and effectiveness in children below the age of 2 years have not been established
No overall differences in safety or effectiveness between elderly and other adult patients
