Dosage & Administration
- Adult Dosage 400 mg orally every 24 hours for specific conditions
- Pediatric Dosage 9 mg/kg/day (maximum 400 mg) every 24 hours for specific conditions
Interaction
- Theophylline & Antacid do not alter pharmacokinetic profile
- Ranitidine increases Cmax & AUC
Contraindications
- Allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics
