Copadox Tablet is used to treat bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pulmonary disease with spastic bronchial component. It is a bronchodilator that selectively inhibits phosphodiesterase 4 to relax bronchial smooth muscle. The dosage varies for elderly, adults, and children above and below 12 years of age. The drug has contraindications for individuals with known hypersensitivity to xanthine derivatives and in patients with acute myocardial infarction, hypotension, and during lactation. Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, and tachycardia, with severe effects in case of overdose. It is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
