Indications
- Relief of dry cough
- Pre & post-operative cough sedation
- Acute cough of any etiology
- Whooping cough
- Cough due to acute lower respiratory tract infections
Pharmacology
- Act directly on the brain's cough center
- Suppress cough
- Safe and non-sedating
- Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration
- Sustained-release tablet with maximum concentration reached within 9 hours
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 2-3 tablets daily
- Adult syrup dosage: 15 ml 4 times daily
- Children (3-6 yrs) tablet dosage: 5 ml 3 times daily
- Children (6-12 yrs) tablet dosage: 10 ml 3 times daily
- Adolescent tablet dosage: 15 ml 3 times daily
- Children (2 months-1 yr) pediatric drops dosage: 0.50 ml 4 times daily
- Children (1-3 yrs) pediatric drops dosage: 0.75 ml 4 times daily
Interaction
Concomitant use with expectorants should be avoided

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient

Pregnancy & Lactation
Avoid in first trimester, use with caution in the remainder of pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
- Avoid concomitant use with expectorants
- Consult doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days (more than 3 days in children younger than 12 years of age)
