Description
Ezylife 10 mg Tablet is indicated for constipation, relief from prolonged & recurrent constipation, bowel clearance before surgery, childbirth or radiological investigations. It is a triarylmethane group derivative stimulant laxative activating colonic bacteria resulting in colonic peristalsis, promoting water and electrolyte accumulation in the colonic lumen.
Dosage and administration
- Oral administration
- Recommended to be taken at night
- Start with lowest dose
- Maximum recommended dose should not be exceeded
Interaction
Concomitant use of diuretics or adreno-corticosteroids may increase the risk of electrolyte imbalance. Concurrent administration of antibiotics may reduce the laxative action of Ezylife.
Contraindications
- Ileus or intestinal obstruction
- Severe painful and/or feverish acute abdominal conditions
- Severe dehydration
- Known hypersensitivity to Sodium Picosulfate or any other component of the product
