Description

Indications

Pharmacology

  • Stimulates colonic peristalsis

Dosage & Administration

  • Oral administration recommended at night
  • Start with lowest dose
  • Dose may be adjusted to produce regular stools
  • Maximum daily dose should not be exceeded

Interaction

  • Concomitant use of diuretics or adreno-corticosteroids may increase risk of electrolyte imbalance
  • Concurrent administration of antibiotics may reduce laxative action

  • Known hypersensitivity to Sodium Picosulfate or any other component of the product
