Indications
- Vaginal Candidiasis

- Known hypersensitivity to Fluconazole or related triazole compounds

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Adverse fetal effects seen in animals at high dose levels
- Little use during human pregnancy
- Not recommended in pregnancy or in women of child bearing potential
Precautions & Warnings
- Observed abnormalities in hepatic, renal, haematological and other biochemical function tests in some patients
- Rare occurrences of hepatic necrosis
- Development of severe cutaneous reactions in rare cases
- Not recommended during lactation
Use in Special Populations
- Normal dose usage in elderly if no evidence of renal impairment
- Dosage adjustments for patients with renal impairment
Overdose Effects
- Supportive measures and symptomatic treatment
- Potential use of gastric lavage
- Forced volume diuresis to increase elimination rate
