Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose: 50mg twice daily, 100mg once daily
- Can be taken with or without food
Interaction

- Did not alter pharmacokinetics of certain drugs
- Slight increase in Digoxin concentration
Contraindications
- Serious hypersensitivity reaction to sitagliptin

Precautions & Warnings
- Discontinue if pancreatitis suspected
- Dosage adjustment in renal insufficiency
- Use with medications known to cause Hypoglycemia

Use in Special Populations
- Pediatric use not established
- Dose adjustment in elderly with decreased renal function
- Different doses for mild, moderate, and severe renal insufficiency
- Elderly patients with decreased renal function
Overdose Effects
- Maximal mean increases in QTc
- No dose-related clinical adverse reactions observed with doses up to 600mg per day
- Modestly dialyzable
