Dosage and administration
- One tablet once or twice daily with plenty of water

Interaction
- Thiazide diuretics reduce urinary excretion of calcium
- Systemic corticosteroids reduce calcium absorption
- Ion exchange resins and laxatives may reduce vitamin D absorption
- Interference with concomitantly administered tetracycline preparations
