Composition
- Each tablet contains 1250 mg of Calcium Carbonate
- Each tablet provides 500 mg of elemental Calcium
- Each tablet contains 200 IU of Vitamin D
- Each DX tablet contains 1500 mg of Calcium Carbonate
- Each DX tablet provides 600 mg of elemental Calcium
- Each DX tablet contains 400 IU of Vitamin D

Dosage and Administration
- One tablet once or twice daily with plenty of water

Interaction
- Thiazide diuretics reduce urinary excretion of calcium
- Systemic corticosteroids reduce calcium absorption
- Simultaneous treatment with ion exchange resins may reduce gastrointestinal absorption of vitamin D
- Calcium carbonate may interfere with absorption of tetracycline preparations
- Hypercalcemia may increase the toxicity of cardiac glycosides
- Contraindicated in the presence of bisphosphonate or sodium fluoride
Contraindications
- Hypercalcemia and hyperparathyroidism
- Hypercalciuria and nephrolithiasis
- Hypersensitivity to the component of this preparation
- Severe renal insufficiencies
- Concomitant digoxin therapy
