Indications
- Bronchial asthma

Pharmacology
- Novel bronchodilator
- Selective inhibition of phosphodiesterase 4
- Relaxes bronchial smooth muscle
- Inhibition of platelet activating factor (PAF)

Dosage & Administration
- Dosage for Elderly: 200 mg tablet two or three times daily
- Dosage for Adults: 400 mg tablet two or three times daily
- Dosage for Children (12 years and above): 10 ml syrup or 200 mg tablet two or three times daily
- Dosage for Children (6-12 years): 6-9 mg/kg body weight two times daily

Interaction
- Avoid concurrent use with other xanthine preparations
- Limit consumption of beverages and food containing caffeine
- Exercise caution when administered together with ephedrine or sympathomimetic drugs
- Potential impact of concurrent administration with erythromycin, TAO, lincomycin, clindamycin, allopurinol, cimetidine, influenza vaccine, propanolol, phenytoin, and other anticonvulsants
- Increased clearance with cigarette smoking
- Possible need to increase drug dosage in certain cases
