Pharmacology
- Contains L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate
- Converts toxic ammonia into non-toxic urea
- Aids in detoxification
- Converts L-Ornithine into non-toxic urea
- L-Aspartate aids in regeneration of damaged liver cells
Dosage
- Oral dosage of 1-2 sachets granules 3 times a day during or after meals
- Injection dosage of up to 20 gm (4 ampoules daily)
- Higher dosage in case of loss of consciousness or clouding of consciousness
Administration
- Can be added to conventional intravenous fluids
- Normal dilution rate of 1 ampoule per 100 ml of I.V. fluid
- Stable solution mixtures up to 24 hours
- Infusion rate of 5 gm/h at maximum
