- Dopamine antagonist

Dosage & Administration
- Adult dose: 10-20 mg every 6-8 hours
- Children's dose based on body weight
- Rectal administration available
- Maximum daily dose: 80 mg
- Treatment duration: Up to 12 weeks
Interactions
- Anticholinergic drugs antagonize effects
- Avoid concomitant use with antacids
- Metabolized via CYP3A4 pathway
- Inhibitors may increase plasma levels
- No influence on neuroleptics
