Indications

  • Management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults
  • Short-term (five days or less) management of acute pain

Pharmacology

  • Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic properties
  • Tramadol is a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic

Dosage & Administration

  • Recommended dose for moderate to moderately severe pain: 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours
  • Recommended dose for short-term acute pain: 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours
  • Can be administered without regard to food

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to tramadol, paracetamol, or opioids
  • Contraindicated in situations where opioids are contraindicated
