Indications and Usage
- Adjunct to diet and exercise in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients
- Inadequate glycemic control with monotherapy of glimepiride or metformin
- Replacement of combination therapy of glimepiride and metformin
Pharmacology

- Stimulates the release of insulin from pancreatic beta cells

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to glimepiride, metformin, or sulfonylureas
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding for glimepiride
- Acute metabolic acidosis or severe renal failure for metformin
