Indications

Composition

Mode of Action

  • Inhibition of topoisomerase II and IV
  • DNA replication inhibition
  • Anti-allergic activity
  • Anti-proliferative activity

Dosage & Administration

  • Instill 1 drop 4 times a day
  • Prevention of infection and post-surgical ocular inflammation
  • Patients undergoing cataract surgery
  • Patients undergoing LASIK refractive surgery
  • Eye infections caused by susceptible microorganisms

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to quinolones
  • Glaucoma or thinning of cornea or sclera
  • Inflammation in the eye caused by virus, fungi, or mycobacteria
  • Specific viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva
  • Mycobacterial infection of the eye
  • Fungal diseases of ocular structures
