Indications

Pharmacology
- Selective and competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase

Dosage & Administration
- Usual dose range: 5-20 mg/day
- Maximum recommended dose: 20 mg/day
- Adjustments at intervals of 4 weeks or more

- Liver enzyme tests before and at 12 weeks following initiation of therapy
