Indications
- Control of acute asthma
- Management of chronic asthma
- For controlling nocturnal asthma and early morning wheezing

Pharmacology
- Bronchodilator
- Methylxanthine

Dosage & Administration
- Individualized dosage based on peak serum theophylline concentration
- Sustained release preparations may be administered every 12 hours in adults
- Recommended maintenance doses for different age groups
Interaction
- Not to be used concurrently with other xanthine derivatives
- Clearance impacted by various drugs
- Potential to potentiate hypokalemia
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Theophylline or any other component of the product
