Pharmacology

  • Antibacterial combination
  • Amoxicillin 250 mg as Amoxicillin Trihydrate BP per 375 mg tablet
  • Clavulanic Acid 125 mg as Diluted Potassium Clavulanate BP per 375 mg tablet

Interaction

  • History of Penicillin hypersensitivity
  • Cross-sensitivity with other beta-lactam antibiotics

Precautions & Warnings

  • Use with care in patients on anticoagulation therapy
  • Dosage adjustment in renal impairment
  • Adequate fluid intake and urinary output during high dose administration

Overdose Effects

  • Unlikely occurrence
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms
  • Disturbance of fluid and electrolyte balances

  • Not to be reconstituted with certain fluids
