Indications

Pharmacology
- Aceclofenac as non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties
- Potent inhibitor of cyclooxygenase enzyme
- Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration
Dosage & Administration
- 200 mg extended-release tablet for adults
- 100 mg film-coated tablet for adults
- Twice daily dosage for film-coated tablet
Interaction
- No significant drug interactions observed
- Close monitoring required when used with lithium and digoxin
- Potential interaction with diuretics
- Enhanced activity of anticoagulants
- Increased plasma levels of methotrexate in combination with methotrexate
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to aceclofenac or aspirin or NSAIDs precipitating asthma attacks
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoid use in pregnancy and lactation unless benefits outweigh risks
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in patients with peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Caution in patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment
- Caution in patients with cardiac or renal impairment
- Caution in patients with dizziness or urticaria
