Indications
- Symptomatic relief of upper respiratory tract disorders

Pharmacology
- Pseudoephedrine as decongestant and bronchodilator
- Guaifenesin as an expectorant
- Triprolidine as an antihistamine
- Norepinephrine release
- Increased hydration of respiratory tract
- Reduction of sputum viscosity
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 10 ml three times a day
- Children 6-12 years: 5 ml three times a day
- Children 2-5 years: 2.5 ml three times a day
- Physician’s advice for children under 2 years
Interaction
- Potential interactions with sympathomimetic agents
- May cause a rise in blood pressure
- Reversal of hypotensive action with certain drugs
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to constituents
- Cardiovascular disease including hypertension
- Lower respiratory symptoms including asthma
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) therapy
