Description
Klion 400 mg Tablet is indicated for the prevention and treatment of various infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, urogenital trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, all forms of amoebiasis, giardiasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, anaerobically infected leg ulcers, pressure sores, acute dental infections, antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis, and for surgical prophylaxis.

Interaction
- Disulfiram: Concurrent use can cause psychotic reactions
- Alcohol: Should be avoided during therapy and for at least 1 day afterwards
- Lithium: Metronidazole may increase plasma levels of lithium
- Cyclosporin: Co-administration requires close monitoring of serum levels
- Phenytoin or phenobarbital: May lead to increased elimination of Metronidazole
- 5-Fluorouracil: Metronidazole may reduce clearance of 5-fluorouracil
- Busulfan: Metronidazole may increase plasma levels of busulfan
