Composition

Aluminium Hydroxide Gel: 250 mg
Magnesium Hydroxide: 400 mg
Aluminium Oxide: 175 mg
Magnesium Hydroxide: 225 mg

Mode of Action

Well-balanced combination of essential non-systemic antacids; without acid rebound, constipating or cathartic effects; provide relief of hyperacidity; slow-acting antacid with prolonged effect; high neutralizing power; slow but sustained acid neutralizing property; possess adsorbent property; form a protecting coating over the ulcer surface facilitating its healing

Dosage & Administration

Tablet: Two tablets 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
Suspension: 2 teaspoons 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime

Interaction

Inhibits the absorption of various drugs

Contraindications

Hypophosphatemia, alkalosis, hypermagnesemia, abdominal distention due to partial or complete intestinal obstruction

Side Effects

Long term use may result in alkaluria and predispose to nephrolithiasis

Pregnancy & Lactation

Avoid in the first trimester of pregnancy

Precautions & Warnings

Reduce the absorption of tetracycline when given concomitantly; avoid concomitant use
