Pharmacology
- Contains Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol)
- Calcium necessary for bone formation
- Vitamin D3 aids in Calcium absorption & reabsorption
- Stimulates bone formation

- Prevents osteoporosis & bone fracture
Dosage & Administration
- Dosage: 500 mg Calcium and 200 IU Vitamin D3 Tablet - 2 tablets daily or 1 tablet twice daily
- Administer with or just after a meal for improved absorption
- Dosage: 500 mg Calcium and 400 IU Vitamin D3 Tablet - 1 tablet twice daily
- Administer with or just after a meal for improved absorption
Interaction
- Possible interactions with antacids containing calcium, aluminium, or magnesium
- Interactions with other calcium supplements and vitamin D3 supplements
- Interactions with digoxin, tetracycline, or doxycycline
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in hypercalcaemia
- Contraindicated in hyperthyroidism
- Contraindicated in renal calculi & nephrolithiasis
- Contraindicated in Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
