Indications
- First-line treatment for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer
- Treatment for tumors with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations
Pharmacology
- Inhibits EGFR kinase activity
- Prevents autophosphorylation of tyrosine residues
- Blocks EGFR-dependent proliferation
- Inhibits IGF and PDGF-mediated signaling
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose: 250 mg orally once daily
- Can be taken with or without food
- Special administration for patients with difficulty swallowing solids

- Hypersensitivity to Gefitinib or any other components
