- ModeOfAction: Proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion
- Absorption: Enteric-coated pellet formulation for controlled release
- Distribution: 97% bound to plasma proteins
- Metabolism: Extensive metabolism in the liver by CYP enzymes
- Excretion: Less than 1% excreted in urine, remainder in faeces
