Indications

• Symptomatic relief of hyperacidity
• Prevention of stress ulceration
• Relief of gas symptoms
• Treatment of flatulence and dyspepsia

Composition

• Tablet:
  • Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel BP: 425.53 mg
  • Magnesium Hydroxide BP: 400 mg
  • Simethicone USP: 30 mg
• Suspension:
  • Aluminium Oxide: 200 mg
  • Magnesium Hydroxide: 400 mg
  • Simethicone USP: 30 mg

Pharmacology

• Non-systemic acid neutralizing substances
• Antiflatulent
• Long-lasting action
• Neutralization of gastric acid
• Relief of ulcer
• Antifoaming properties of Simethicone
• Physiologically inert
• Excretion in feces

Dosage & Administration

• Tablet: 1-2 tablets 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
• Suspension: 1-2 teaspoonful 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime

Interaction

• Effect on oral drug absorption
• Increase/decrease in bioavailability of certain drugs

Contraindications

• Renal failure
• Hypophosphataemia
• Severe debilitation
• Alkalosis
• Hypermagnesaemia
• Intestinal obstruction
