Pharmacology
- Non-opioid antitussive
- Local anesthetic properties of Levomenthol
- Antitussive, antihistaminic, anticholinergic properties of Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 2 teaspoonfuls 4 times a day
- Maximum 8 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours
- Use in children & adolescents not established
Interactions
- Potentiation of alcohol and CNS depressants effects
- Potential potentiation of anticholinergic drugs
- Caution with monoamine oxidase inhibitors
