Interaction
- Diminished ability to metabolize large doses with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, and alcohol
- Increased hepatotoxicity with alcohol
- Induction of liver enzymes by chronic ingestion of anticonvulsants or oral steroid contraceptives

- Known hypersensitivity to Paracetamol

- Not to exceed the stated dose
- Avoid concurrent use of other Paracetamol-containing products
- Use only when clearly necessary
Overdose Effects
- Possible liver damage with 10g or more intake in adults
- Lead to liver damage with 5g or more intake with specified risk factors
- Symptoms of Napa overdose
- Immediate treatment essential
- Use of activated charcoal if overdose within 1 hour
- Measurement of plasma Napa concentration
- Treatment with N-acetylcysteine
- Management of serious hepatic dysfunction beyond 24 hours from ingestion
