Indications

Dosage & Administration
- Cleansing of burn wounds before application
- Recommended thickness and frequency of application
- Reapplication after patient activity or hydrotherapy
- Continued treatment until satisfactory healing
Interaction
- Inactivation of enzymatic debriding agents
- Potentiation of oral hypoglycemic agents and phenytoin
- Increased incidence of leukopenia with Cimetidine
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug or its ingredients
- Pregnant women approaching or at term
- Premature infants or newborn infants in the first 2 months of life
