Pharmacology
- Broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
- Inhibits bacterial DNA replication
- Inhibits bacterial DNA transcription
- Inhibits bacterial DNA repair
- Inhibits bacterial DNA recombination
Dosage & Administration
- 0.5% eye drop for adults and children 1 year and older
- 1.5% eye drop for adults and children 6 years and older
- Dosage for children under 1 year not established
Interaction
- Potential interaction with theophylline

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Levofloxacin
- Hypersensitivity to quinolones
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the medication
