Description
- Broad-spectrum 4th generation fluorinated quinolone
- Prevents inflammation and bacterial infection after eye surgery
- Contains Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride BP and Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate USP
- Inhibits topoisomerase II and topoisomerase IV
- Anti-allergic, anti-exudative, and anti-proliferative properties
- Dosage: 1 drop, 4 times a day for up to 7 days for eye infections
- Contraindicated in patients with glaucoma or ocular diseases causing thinning of cornea or sclera
- Side effects include conjunctivitis, decreased visual acuity, dry eye, and cataract formation
- Caution advised during pregnancy and lactation
- Prolonged steroid use may result in ocular hypertension and glaucoma
- Storage: below 30°C, protected from light, discard after 28 days
