Indications

Pharmacology
Ivermectin selectively binds to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, leading to an increase in permeability of cell membranes to chloride ions with hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cell and ultimately, death of the parasite.
