Description
Xelpro is indicated for relieving chronic heartburn symptoms, healing erosive esophagitis, maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis, eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection, treating Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, acid-related Dyspepsia, duodenal & gastric ulcers. It is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion.

Dosage Instructions
- 20-40 mg Once Daily for 4-8 Weeks for Healing of Erosive Esophagitis
- 20 mg Once Daily for Maintenance of Healing of Erosive Esophagitis
- 20 mg Once Daily for Symptomatic GERD
- 40 mg Once Daily for Helicobacter Pylori eradication
- 20-80 mg Once Daily for Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
- 20-40 mg Once Daily for Acid-related Dyspepsia
- 20 mg Once Daily for 2-4 Weeks for Duodenal Ulcer
- 20-40 mg Once Daily for 4-8 Weeks for Gastric Ulcer
- 20 mg or 40 mg Once Daily for GERD with Erosive Esophagitis via IV Injection or IV Infusion
Administration
- Tablet or Capsule: Swallowed whole, taken one hour before a meal
- Oral Suspension: Mixed with water, swallowed within 30 minutes
- IV Injection: Administered intravenously over a period of at least 3 minutes
Interaction
Xelpro is extensively metabolized in the liver by CYP2C19 and CYP3A4. It may potentially interfere with the absorption of certain drugs and may have interactions with diazepam, ketoconazole, iron salts, and digoxin.

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the formulation
