Composition
- Calcium Carbonate BP equivalent to 600 mg elemental Calcium
- Vitamin D3 BP (as Cholecalciferol) 200 IU
- Magnesium Oxide BP equivalent to 40 mg Magnesium
- Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate BP equivalent to 1.8 mg Manganese
- Cupric Oxide equivalent to 1 mg Copper
- Boron Citrate equivalent to 250 mcg Boron
- Zinc Oxide BP equivalent to 7.5 mg Zinc
Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Adult: 1 film-coated tablet twice daily with meals and water
- Children 3-7 years: 1 effervescent tablet daily
- Children 7 years to older: 1 to 2 effervescent tablet daily
Interaction
- Risk of hypercalcemia with thiazide diuretics
- Importance of timing with certain foods and medications
- Effects on digitalis and other cardiac glycosides
- Need for strict medical supervision and monitoring
Contraindications
- Absolute contraindications for hypercalcaemia, bone metastasis, sarcoidosis, primary hyperparathyroidism and Vitamin-D 3 overdosage
- Relative contraindications for severe renal failure, hypersensitivity to tablet ingredients, etc.
Side Effects
- Mild gastro-intestinal disturbances
- Occasional skin rash with vitamin-D3 supplements
- Risk of hypercalciuria and hypercalcaemia with long-term treatment
Pregnancy & Lactation
Increased requirements for calcium and vitamin-D 3 during pregnancy and lactation; precautions for supplementation
Precautions & Warnings
- Supervision for patients with renal failure or hypercalciuria
- Periodic checks of plasma calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion
- Monitoring of serum and urinary calcium levels with long-term treatment
Overdose Effects
