Pharmacology
- Contains Calcium Carbonate

Dosage & Administration
- Dosage: Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 200 IU Tablet
- Two tablets daily or one tablet twice daily
- Best taken with or just after a meal to improve absorption
- Dosage: Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 400 IU Tablet
- One tablet twice daily
- Best taken with or just after a meal to improve absorption
Interaction
- Possible interaction with calcium, aluminium or magnesium containing antacids
- Possible interaction with other calcium supplements
- Possible interaction with calcitriol and other vitamin D3 supplements
- Possible interaction with digoxin
- Possible interaction with tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline or oxytetracycline
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in hypercalcaemia
- Contraindicated in hyperthyroidism
- Contraindicated in renal calculi & nephrolithiasis
- Contraindicated in Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
