Indications

Composition
- 0.5% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate
- 70% v/v Isopropyl Alcohol
Pharmacology
Bactericidal effect due to the binding of chlorhexidine cation to bacterial cell walls
Dosage & Administration
- Disinfect clean hands: Apply approximately 3 ml and scrub until dry
- Disinfect surgical instruments: Immerse instruments in approximately 5 ml solution for 2 minutes
- Disinfect skin prior to surgery: Apply approximately 3 ml with cotton and scrub until dry
- Disinfect wound/wound dressing: Apply approximately 3 ml with cotton and scrub until dry
Interaction
Incompatible with soaps and other anionic agents, may cause stains in fabrics exposed to hypochlorite bleaches

Hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine Gluconate or any components
