Composition

• Diethylanthranol 0.75 gram per 100 gram
• Boric acid 1.75 gram per 100 gram
• Salicylic acid 2.50 gram per 100 gram

Pharmacology

• ATP inhibition in epidermal cells
• Keratolytic activity
• Antifungal and antibacterial properties

Dosage & Administration

• Clean affected area with warm water
• Apply a thin layer of ointment
• Apply once or twice daily
• Discontinue use after recovery

Interaction

• May interact with fluocinolone
• May interact with hydroquinone
• May interact with isotretinoin

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the ointment
• Avoid use on inflamed psoriatic eruptions
• Avoid use after shaving or bathing
• Avoid use on dentures
• Not recommended during breastfeeding
• Not for use on children

Side Effects

• Contact allergic reactions
• Skin irritation
• Temporary hair and nail discoloration
• Burning sensation at application site
