Dosage Instructions
- One 5/120 tablet twice daily for adults and children over 12 years
- One 10/240 tablet once daily for adults and children over 12 years
- Lower initial dose for patients with renal insufficiency
- Not recommended for children under 12 years
- Caution for patients over 60 years old

Indications
- Relief of nasal congestion
- Relief of runny nose
- Relief of sneezing
- Relief of itchy, watery eyes
- Relief of itching of the nose or throat
- Relief of swelling of nasal passages
- Relief of sinus congestion and pressure
Pharmacological Properties
- Loratadine - non-sedative histamine H1-receptor antagonist
- Loratadine - long-acting tricyclic anti-histamine
- Pseudoephedrine - orally active sympathomimetic amine
- Pseudoephedrine - nasal and bronchial decongestant activity
Interaction
- Contraindicated with monoamino oxidase (MAO) inhibitors
- May reduce effects of beta-adrenergic blocking agents, methyldopa, reserpine and veaturm alkaloids
- Increased ectopic pacemaker activity when used with digitalis
- Increased plasma concentration with Erythromycin, Ketoconazole and Cimetidine

Overdose Effects
- General symptomatic and supportive measures
- Emesis (ipecac syrup) if applicable
- Activated charcoal administration
- Gastric lavage with normal saline if necessary
