Indications
- Topical treatment of acne vulgaris
Pharmacology
- Acts on retinoid receptors in the skin
- Modulates cellular differentiation and inflammatory processes
- Decreases microcomedone formation
Dosage
- Adapalene 0.1% for affected areas of skin once daily at night-time
- Adapalene 0.3% for entire face and affected areas once daily in the evening
- Not established for children below 12 years of age
Administration
- Apply a thin film of gel or cream to affected skin areas
Interaction
- Use caution with other potentially irritating topical products
- Avoid using sulfur, resorcinol, or salicylic acid in combination with Pimplex
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Adapalene or its components
