Indications
- Treatment of postoperative inflammation
- Reduction of ocular pain
- Cataract extraction
Pharmacology
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)
- Block prostaglandin synthesis
- Inhibit cyclooxygenase 1 and 2
- Anti-inflammatory activity
- Mediators of intraocular inflammation
- Disruption of the blood-aqueous humor barrier
- Vasodilatation
- Increased intraocular pressure
Dosage & Administration
- One drop applied to affected eye(s) once daily
- Treatment starts 1 day prior to cataract surgery
- Continued on the day of surgery
- Continued through the first 14 days of postoperative period
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to any ingredients
Side Effects
- Abnormal sensation in eye
- Conjunctival hyperemia
- Eye irritation (including burning/stinging)
- Eye pain
- Eye pruritus
- Eye redness
- Headache
- Iritis
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Pregnancy Category C
- Caution during pregnancy
- Caution when administered to a nursing woman
Precautions & Warnings
- NSAIDs and corticosteroids may slow or delay healing
- Caution in patients with known bleeding tendencies
- Caution in patients receiving other medications which may prolong bleeding time

Storage Conditions
- Store below 30°C
- Store in a cool, dry place away from light
- Keep out of reach of children
- Prevent contamination of the dropper tip and solution
- Do not touch the eyelids, surrounding areas, finger, or other surfaces with the dropper tip
- Tightly close the bottle when not in use
- Do not use after 4 weeks of first opening
