Dosage and Administration
- 250 mg b.i.d. for 5-10 days for pharyngitis/tonsillitis in adolescents and adults
- 500 mg b.i.d. for 10 days for acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis in adolescents and adults
- 250-500 mg b.i.d. for 10 days for acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis in adolescents and adults
- 250-500 mg b.i.d. for 5-10 days for secondary bacterial infections of acute bronchitis in adolescents and adults
- 250-500 mg b.i.d. for 10 days for uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections in adolescents and adults
- 250 mg b.i.d. for 7-10 days for uncomplicated urinary tract infections in adolescents and adults
- 1000 mg b.i.d. single dose for uncomplicated gonorrhea in adolescents and adults
- 250-500 mg b.i.d. for 5-10 days for community-acquired pneumonia in adolescents and adults
Interaction
- Concomitant administration of probenecid increases the serum concentration of Cefuroxime-Clavulanic Acid by 50%

- Known allergy to cephalosporin
