Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma
- Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Increased dose to 2 mg twice daily in severe cases
- Children above 3 years: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Elderly: Same as adult dose or as advised by physician
Interaction
- Potentiation of effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohols
- Reversible fall in platelet count with oral antidiabetic agents
Contraindications
- Avoidance during concomitant use with oral antidiabetic agents
- Not recommended in pregnancy and when breastfeeding

Precautions & Warnings
- Continuation of previous treatment for a minimum of two weeks after starting Ridair

- Potentiation of effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohol
