Indications
- Treats type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults
- Can be used as monotherapy or in combination with metformin or sulphonylurea
Pharmacology
- Inhibitor of DPP-4 enzyme
- Increases active incretin hormones
- Stimulates insulin release and decreases glucagon secretion
Dosage & Administration
